The British Red Cross is a volunteer-led humanitarian organisation that helps people in crisis, whoever and wherever they are. We enable vulnerable people at home and overseas to prepare for and respond to emergencies in their own communities. And when the crisis is over, we help people recover and move on with their lives.
This role will involve supporting the London Community Fundraising team as we prepare for our Red Cross Week and work across all our fundraising streams - including local trust and corporate applications, supporting people undertaking fundraising activities for us and work with our committees. People suited to this role would include those who are adaptable and enjoy a fast paced environment.
The Successful Applicant
We keep the beneficiary at the heart of what we do, working to understand their needs and the difference we make. Also someone who is: Creative and able to 'think on your feet'; Comfortable working in a fast paced environment; Flexible and happy to take on challenges; Good writing skills; Passionate about philanthropy in local communities.
