During the three year programme, you will actively participate in everything from sales to marketing and customer service to operations and finance. Along the way, we’ll give you plenty of opportunity to show your skills, and we’ll reward your development with pay increases and opportunities for continued development. As you progress, we will work with you to decide where your skills are best suited and then define the best route for exit from the programme and into your onward career path within not only Linde MH UK but also the wider KION Group. Responsibilities As a Commercial Apprentice, you will take on 4 rotations across the business in the space of three years. This will consist of one full year rotation, two of 9 months and one of 6 months. If you are based in Basingstoke, one of these rotations will see you embedded full time in a Network company elsewhere in the UK, and vice versa for those within the Network companies who will spend time in Basingstoke. You will learn how to deliver exceptional customer service, this is the core of what we do. We will teach you how to effectively communicate, influence, and interact with all types of customers, vendors, and colleagues. You’ll learn proper sales techniques, problem solving strategies and conflict management. Those skills will provide you with the opportunity to build solid, long lasting relationships with key business decision makers.

The Successful Applicant

A Bachelor’s degree is preferred; however, professional experience can be substituted if applicable. You must have a full driving license, but we do make accommodations for applicants who don’t drive due to a disability. Additional Information Regardless of your socio-economic background, university attended, subjects studied and qualifications attained, Linde will always look at how you perform against our competencies and will judge you on that alone.
